TERMS & PRACTICAL ANSWERS
Clear before you commit.
The buying, delivery, return, branding and sourcing information business clients need before approving an order.
Where can I read TruePath's full Terms and Conditions?
You can read or download the complete TruePath Terms and Conditions here. Please review them before approving an order.
Where can I read the Special Order Sourcing Fee Terms?
The upfront fee, scope of work and possible order-credit conditions are explained in the Special Order Sourcing Service Fee Terms.
Can I request more than one category?
Yes. Combine Office Supplies, Technology, Corporate Apparel, Workspace and Specialised Sourcing in one request.
How long is a quote valid?
Unless the quote says otherwise, TruePath quotations are valid for 7 days and remain subject to stock, supplier pricing, courier charges and exchange-rate changes until paid and processed.
When is payment required?
TruePath works on payment before delivery unless different terms are agreed in writing. Orders over R1,000 paid by EFT are processed once cleared funds reflect. A proof of payment does not reserve stock.
How does delivery work?
Delivery timing, serviceable address and charges are confirmed on the quotation. Changed details, failed delivery, special handling, restricted areas or redelivery can attract additional charges.
Can I return or exchange an item?
Returns first go through the relevant supplier, manufacturer or warranty assessment. Eligible amounts are normally held as TruePath account credit where legally permitted; cash refunds are not automatic.
Can branded or custom items be returned?
Special-order, imported, configured, branded, opened, activated, licence-based or client-specific items generally cannot be cancelled or returned unless the supplier permits it or the law requires it.
Can TruePath source something unusual?
Yes. Specialised Sourcing is for a particular desk, laptop, specification or other hard-to-find business need. A service fee applies before research starts.
How does the sourcing fee work?
The standard R750 sourcing fee or R1,500 project fee covers labour, research, supplier contact, comparison and recommendations. It is payable upfront and becomes non-refundable once work starts. The fee remains payable even if no suitable match is found, the options do not meet the brief, or you decide not to accept or purchase an option. It pays for the sourcing work, not for a guaranteed product or successful purchase. Any later order credit is discretionary and must be confirmed in writing.
Do I purchase directly online?
Not yet. The website captures a clear request. TruePath then confirms availability, price, payment and delivery directly with you.
What are your working hours?
Monday to Thursday 08:30 to 17:00 and Friday 08:30 to 16:00.
The downloadable documents are controlled client-facing terms and state that they should be reviewed by a South African attorney before final legal adoption.
